  Fast Riding at Lydden
Saturdays

Meet at Grove Ferry to leave 9:30am. Rides in winter go down to Lympne/Hythe area, return via the Elham Vally and disperse at Barham from where you make your way home. In the Racing Season the ride will generally go over the Downs for a tea stop in Sandwich after which you make your way home.

Sundays

Meet on the bridge over the A2 at Barham to leave 9:00am. The ride goes to Rye (often for a cafe stop) via Elham, Lyminge, Lympne, Aldington, Ham Street, Kennardington, Appledore, Rye. The ride is very popular through the winter but in the Racing Season there could only be a few people taking part.

Tuesdays

From mid April to mid September the club hires Lydden Motor Racing Circuit near Dover. This facility offers a very hard training session, which lasts for one hour plus five laps. Early and late season sessions start at 6:30pm sharp leading out for a 7:00pm start, as the nights get lighter. A fee is charged to each rider and for 2005 this is £3.50 for non-club members and £3.00 to club membres. Juniors and Youths pay less. Bikes with Tri-bars are not allowed and the wearing of helmets is compulsory from the point of view of safety. You ride at your own risk and must sign a disclaimer before accessing the circuit.

For those who feel they are not up to speed they can use the circuit from 5:30pm.

Refreshments are available after every session

Wednesdays

Meet on the bridge over the A2 at Barham to leave at 9:30 am. This ride goes to Rye following the same route as Sunday's. Again, sometimes a Cafè stop but there are those who return directly from Appledore making the ride slightly shorter.

Thursdays

Club evening 10 mile Time Trial. The headquarters is the Plough and Harrow Pub at Tilmanstone. These start early in May through to September and are organised by Ian Ferrell (01304 367325). Start times will adjust according to light but will initially be 6:30pm moving out to 7:00pm. The course uses the new dual carriageway from Tilmanston down to Whitfield and back.

Also Activ mountain bike ride. Meet on the Green in Saltwood, near Hythe. Arrive at 6:30pm for a 6:45 start. Rides will vary in length and speed to cater for riders, weather and light. In winter lights will be required. Usually around 2 hours riding followed by refreshment in The Castle Hotel.

Fridays

Junior Training Sessions at Crabble Stadium (The Club's Headquarters) in Dover. These are run by Richard Wood who should be contacted initially on 01303 253365. During the winter months these are moved to Saturday mornings.
