VC Deal youth racer Jack Finch has been selected as one of four riders to represent the South East in the cycling events.

The Sainsburys sponsored UK Schools Games is to be held in Newcastle from the 3rd to the 5th of September 2010.

Travel, accommodation and clothing will be provided by British Cycling South East Region and the riders will stay in an "athletes village" a la the Olympics.

This is well deserved honour for Jack, you won't find a more dedicated and harder working youngster anywhere.

I'm sure you will all join me in offering congratulations to Jack on his selection and in wishing him the best of luck in the competition itself.
