Ian and Diane Ferrel hosted the event at the Walmer Sea Scouts Hall on Walmer seafront.

About 40 members enjoyed an evening of food, drink and chat with the formalities kept to a minimum.

Prizes awarded were: -

Fastest 10 mile time trial - Gary Record

Fastest 12 hour time trial - Chris Bax

Fastest 50 mile time trial - Chris Bax

ACTiV Trophy for off road achievement - Jack Finch

Most improved rider - Jack Spicer

Club Person of the Year - Stephanie Wood

Sophie Newington received her trophy for 2nd place in the Youth Girls London Cyclo-Cross League whilst Jack Spicer and Jack Finch showed off the trophy they won with the help of Thomas Butler and Nick Kearney when they were the winning Youth team in the London Cyclo-Cross Team Championships.

A special award was made to John Duckworth who has steeped down from the Committee and regular coaching after many years service to the club. Chairman Ian Ferrell thanked him on behalf of us all, marking the occasion with a small momento, and honorary life membership of VC Deal. Thanks for everything John.
