Spring Classic Sportives
Happening on:20th March 2010 at: France/Belgium/Holland
These rides follow the routes of the "Spring Classic" series of professional races. I will be riding some or all of these and I am happy to arrange entries/hotels/ferries for anyone interested. I need to know in good time though... The hyperlinks dont work, so you'll have to cut & paste them to get to the sites...
Saturday March 20th - The Het Volk Sportive A choice of 70, 110 or 140Km loops South of Ghent, along the route of the traditional Belgian season opener.

Saturday April 3rd – The Tour of Flanders This is probably the most ridden classic sportive for British riders. A choice of 70 or 140Km routes. 17 climbs, half of them cobbled. Watch the pro race on the Sunday. http://www.sport.be/cyclingtour/rondevanvlaanderen/2010/eng/
Sunday May 2nd – Tilff–Bastogne–Tilff The route of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege classic minus the first 12Km. Long steep hills in the Ardennes, but good roads. http://www.sport.be/cyclingtour/2010/fr/
Sunday 6th Jun – Paris-Roubaix The Hell of the North – the toughest, roughest sportive. 98, 173 or 255Km with up to 49Km of the worst cobbled roads available. The Lord Whisky Cyclo-Sportive
Happening on:31st May 2010 at: The Lord Whiskey, Stelling Minnis
The first Lord Whisky Cyclo-Sportive will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May 2010. You can ride distances of 80kms (50 miles) or 116kms (72 miles). over part of the North Downs, with some of the best rolling countryside in Kent. You will also ride over the quiet flat roads of Romney Marsh. There are a few hills, to keep the climbers happy. One climbs 102 meters in just over 1km. Some have been used in the past when the Tour de France came to Kent. There will be a feed station on route. All finishers will receive a commemorative mug. Refreshments and food will be available all day. The event will start and finish at the Park House Animal Sanctuary in Stelling Minnis. Weekend camping available at the Sanctuary on request. Riders can start from 9.30 a.m. in groups up to twelve. All riders will be timed and results sheets available. The entry fee is only £12 in advance! Entry on the day will be £17.
All proceeds will go to the Lord Whisky Sanctuary Fund a registered charity.
